The wine cellar of the Vouga family


It was around 1450 that the family moved to Cortaillod Vouga, living on agriculture, viticulture and fishing. The first written documents of ownership of vines dating from 1750 approx. In 1993 Jocelyn holds a Master of Wine and a diploma in oenology, wine from the harvest area and moved as vintner.

The family cultivates Vouga an area of 6 hectares. All their plots are located on the vineyard Cortaillod and therefore benefit from its AOC. Oriented to the south and enmajorité located along the slopes of the lake, all their vines are cultivated in Guyot mid-high and are processed according to guidelines Vitiswiss, a Swiss association of integrated production in viticulture, aimed at the application and control methods for crops that are more environmentally friendly and this since 1993, the year of its creation.

The winery, located in Little Cortaillod, is open on Saturday from 10am. For another time, it is prudent to register by phone. Groups of up to 20 people are also welcome for a tasting of their wines.

The family Vouga offers the following wines:
Chasselas, Chasselas Non-Filtered, partridge-eye, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
